Port Grimaud er en af de destinationer på Saint Tropez bugten, som man oplagt kan svinge forbi på sin uge ombord. Den er bygget af artiktekten François Spoerry som hentede inspiration fra Italiens Venedig – hvorfor Port Grimaud sommetider kaldes ”Frankrigs Venedig”. Det er en smuk, bilfri by med en unik atmosfære, hvor man oplagt kan tage en kanalrundfart rundt i kanalerne med Skuld VII’s gummibåd. Der er også charmerende små barer, restauranter og ishuse, som man kan tilbringe aftenen ved. Er vejret til det, bør man også hoppe på den lyse sandstrand og snuppe en drink på en af strandbarerne, eller gøre brug af vandsportaktiviterne – der udbydes blandt andet jetski, parasailing og surfing.
Port Grimaud is one of the destinations on the Bay of Saint Tropez that you can obviously visit during your week on board. It was built by the architect François Spoerry, who drew inspiration from Italy's Venice - which is why Port Grimaud is sometimes called the "Venice of France". It is a beautiful, car-free city with a unique atmosphere, where you can obviously take a canal cruise around the canals with Skuld VII's rubber boat. There are also charming little bars, restaurants and ice cream parlors where you can spend the evening. If the weather is right, you should also hop on the bright sandy beach and grab a drink at one of the beach bars, or make use of the water sports activities – jet skis, parasailing and surfing are offered, among other things.
